The Company: Green Leaf Lab is the nation's first licensed and accredited cannabis analytical laboratory. We are a full-service, production oriented, cannabis and hemp laboratory using cutting-edge technology to characterize the chemical, physical, biological, and microbial properties of a wide range of samples submitted for regulatory compliance and operational purposes. We are team oriented and focused on excellent service. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Quality Officer to join our team.

Compensation: D.O.E.

Position: The quality officer will primarily be responsible for ensuring results and data meet established protocols, reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy, maintaining the quality manual, and have ownership of in-house SOP and document control responsibilities. The position will report to Laboratory Director and Senior Management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

· Ensure compliance with internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality systems.

· Review and release of finished client reports.

· Perform internal audits of quality systems and SOPs.

· Drive quality systems improvements by coordinating investigations and corrective actions with all applicable operating units.

· Implement and develop quality control functions within Laboratory Intake Management System (LIMS) for all laboratory processes.

· Evaluate current operational practices and recommend process improvements to ensure continued compliance to regulatory requirements and industry expectations.

· Evaluation and decision of deviations following TNI 2009 guidelines.

· Authoring and revision of SOPs.

· Ownership of training documentation and determination of capability for laboratory employees.

· Oversight of TNI 2009 and ISO 17025 accreditation.

Minimum Requirements:

· Bachelors of Science Degree or greater.

· Minimum 5 years analytical laboratory experience with 2 years involving quality review and systems.

· Specific training for TNI 2009 Standard or NELAC Institute quality requirements and ISO 17025 Standard.

· Experience with the following instrumentation: HPLC, GCMS, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS.

· Problem solving with ability to see whole picture and impact to data.

· Experience with method development.

· Experience auditing and technical report writing.

· Excellent attention to detail.

· Demonstrate leadership ability and excellent interpersonal skills.
