Position summary
The HVAC installer will be responsible for installing new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and components according to company standards, manufacturer specifications, and relevant safety regulations. The ideal candidate is a motivated, detail-oriented individual with a strong mechanical aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key responsibilities
Install heating and air conditioning systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems.
Install and connect gas lines, refrigerant lines, and low-voltage and line-voltage wiring according to diagrams and codes.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
Perform all work in a safe, clean, and organized manner.
Receive, load, and verify all necessary equipment and materials for each job.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional company image.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include relevant experience in HVAC installation, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. Candidates should be physically capable of lifting up to a specified weight, working in various conditions, and possess strong communication and customer service skills.
