Neil Kelly is looking for a Licensed Limited Renewable Energy Technician (LRT) and an Electrician to join our Portland Solar team. You will enjoy regular full-time hours with paid vacation and sick time, holidays and weekends free. Installer candidates must be LRT certified. Electrician candidates must be licensed in Oregon or a reciprocal state.

Installers must have manual labor experience and be comfortable working on roofs. Solar installation or roofing experience strongly preferred. Limited Renewable Technician certification required for lead roles.

Electrician must be a licensed Journey Level Electrician in Oregon (being licensed in Washington as well is a plus). NOTE: Oregon has reciprocity with Arkansas, Idaho, Maine, Montana, Utah, Washington or Wyoming. A Journey Level Electrician in any these states can get a license in Oregon.

Key Skills:

Interpersonal and Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are required.

Team-Oriented and Dependable: Ability to perform high-quality work in a team setting.

Language and Math Skills: Must be able to speak, read, and understand English, and be competent in construction math.

Physical Requirements:

Carrying, lifting, climbing, crawling, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.

Comfortable working at heights.

Vehicle and Travel Requirements:

Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

Regular travel between job sites is required.

Safety Certifications: Obtain/maintain current First Aid/CPR certification and OSHA safety requirements (company provides training).
