Small demolition, excavation and site work company looking for a machine operator. We handle one or two projects a month and each job is 4-5 full days of work. The work includes grading, concrete basement demo and truck loading, backfill and engineered compaction, sewer caps, and cesspool decommissioning.
This job is perfect for someone with experience in the trades but doesn’t need a full time 9-5 position.
Job expectations:
- Multiple years of experience operating an excavator like a 50G. (We typically use a 12,000lbs machine)
- Manage and execute tasks on their own
- Easily work with dump truck driver to coordinate loads
- Meet with city inspectors
- Consistent communication and planning with owner to plan and execute on projects
- Reliable, on-time, enthusiastic
Hours: Part time, approximately 20 - 30 hours / month
Pay: $50/hr
