Schedules:

Shift 1 – Sunday – every other Wednesday Day Shift (5AM-5PM)

Shift 2 - Sunday – every other Wednesday Night Shift (5PM-5AM)

Shift 3 - every other Wednesday – Saturday Day Shift (5AM-5PM)

Shift 4 - every other Wednesday – Saturday Night Shift (5PM-5AM)

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring optimal plant operations, product quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, and adjustments to equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.

Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other issues on production equipment.

Equipment Installation and Modification: Install and modify equipment as needed, adhering to safety protocols and engineering standards.

Root Cause Analysis: Investigate equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, GMP standards, and company policies.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and repair history.

Collaboration: Work effectively with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and equipment reliability.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a food manufacturing environment

Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including troubleshooting and repair

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

Knowledge of PLC and HMI systems (preferred)

Valid driver's license

Ability to provide own basic tools

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
