Neil Kelly Company is seeking an experienced, bilingual (English/Spanish) Project Manager to join our Solar / Home Performance team.

Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt | Duration: 2-3 years, depending on project completion

What your day will look like:

The Project Manager – Home Performance will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of all required work for specified solar and home performance projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for developing schedules, coordinating preconstruction walkthroughs, collaborating with trade partners, ordering materials, approving invoices, estimating projected gross margins, supervising field personnel, verifying proper installations, and coordinating inspections/utility meter swaps.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements for installations.

Ensure availability of materials, equipment, and labor necessary for project execution by coordinating with internal teams, trade partners, and suppliers.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.

Ensure that each unit is ready in advance for all interior installations to meet the ongoing project schedule.

Assist in obtaining necessary permits, licenses, and regulatory approvals for installations, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations. Ensure all inspections are scheduled and completed on time in collaboration with trade partners.

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays, cost overruns, and safety hazards.

Implement quality control measures to ensure installations meet industry standards, approved plans, specifications, and client expectations.

Monitor project expenditures, track costs against budget allocations, and identify opportunities to optimize project profitability.

Develop project schedules, assign tasks to team members/trade partners, and coordinate workflow to ensure timely completion of milestones and deliverables.

Provide updates on a regular basis regarding schedule, cost, client experience, vendor program and other project details.

Proactively identify and address issues that arise during project execution, collaborating with the team to develop effective solutions.

Implement safety protocols, in coordination with NK Safety Manager, to ensure a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA and OR-OSHA protocols.

Coordinate with clients to provide post installation support, including system operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and warranty services.

Install LED fixtures and smart fans per plan and specifications and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bilingual Skills: Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English.

Computer Proficiency: Skilled in using various software and project management tools with the ability to learn new software systems quickly. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required. Experience in SCOOP, Salesforce, Aurora and Power Clerk is preferred.

Communication: Effective oral and written communication skills.

Problem Solving: Ability to identify problems quickly and devise effective solutions.

Conflict Resolution: Skilled in managing and resolving conflicts between team members, clients, and vendors.

Self-Motivation: Performance driven with a high level of initiative and motivation to achieve and exceed performance targets.

Time Management: Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Budget Management: Proficiency in creating and managing project budgets.

Cost Estimation: Skilled in cost estimating and financial planning to ensure projects are completed within budget.

Construction Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of materials, methods, and tools used in solar system construction.

Design Techniques: Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles for producing blueprints, specifications, and site plans.

Customer Service: Expertise in providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The role has a base salary of $90K/year.

Final candidates will be submitted for a background check, motor vehicle records check and drug screen.
