James E. John Construction Co., Inc., a full-service Commercial Construction Company headquartered in Vancouver, WA has an immediate opening for a Commercial Construction Superintendent who is willing to travel. We are a family owned company looking to add to our team.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 6 years experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent. Primary duties and responsibilities include safety, quality control, layout, scheduling and management of all subcontractors and labor. Must be able to communicate effectively with employees, subcontractors, public agencies, architect and owner. Desired candidate must be goal driven, project focused, ability to work in a team environment, detailed, organized, be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, excellent at communicating clearly and effectively in both verbal and written form, ability to identify complex problems and determine appropriate course of action, knowledgeable in methods, techniques, tools, and principals used in commercial construction. Candidate must possess good computer skills and be able to use Bluebeam.
Candidate must have the required experience.
Candidate will supervise projects both locally and nationally.
