Volt is hiring multiple technical support technicians for a one the largest technology companies in the world. This job is located in Prineville and works a standard Mon-Fri Day shift. You don't need to have prior professional experience in the technology field. Someone who is a recent graduate from a college or IT certification program would be considered. All applicants must have some experience working with computers and understand how to connect and disconnect ethernet and power cables. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to break into an enterprise IT environment and is a natural problem solver, has great attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a strong work ethic.Responsibilities

Installing cabinets and data cables in a data center environment.
Monitor and track all activity in ticketing system
Working with hand tools
Connect and disconnect Ethernet and Fiber Optic cables
Replace hard drives and other storage media

Key Qualifications

Experience working in computer and IT environments
Knowledge of Ethernet and/or Fiber networking cables
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Available to work an 8-hour shift Mon-Fri between the hours of 7am - 5pm
High degree of professionalism
