Responsibilities:
Is customer service your passion? Then Sunrise Shop & Save may be the perfect fit for you! We are looking for an energetic, person-centered employee who can help us strengthen our thrift retail offerings in Douglas County by providing outstanding customer service. This position will work as Cashier, stock shelves, and sort donated goods. Training may be provided to become a Direct Support Professional for individuals with disabilities in our Retail Job Training Program. Part-time hours may include evenings and weekends.
Qualifications:
Minimum 4-6 months' experience in a retail setting and proven, stable employment history. High School Diploma or GED. Experience working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred but not required. Experience with Microsoft Office suite is preferred but not required. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have desire to work with people with disabilities. Must be able to pass criminal history check and drug screen, including negative for all marijuana products due to federal contracts.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand through majority of work shift; grasp, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel. Must be able to lift 20-30 lbs. routinely unassisted; 50 lbs. on occasion with assistance.
