Join a leading manufacturer of architectural flush wood and fiberglass reinforced polymer doors in Winston. This extremely fast-paced environment manufactures, machines, finishes, inspects, and ships doors and related products.
Ideal candidates have the following skills and experience:
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing plant, working with automated equipment
Ability to install, troubleshoot and repair systems ranging from 12VDC to 480VAC/600 amps
Ability to maintain or repair electrical equipment following schedule or directed by others
Must be able to install and repair controls circuit, read blueprints/schematics, and bend and run conduit
Must have knowledge of ladder logic and programmable logic controllers (PLC) and be able to troubleshoot
Experience in working with variable speed drives
Experience with diagnosing malfunctioning systems or machines, determine cause of the breakdown, and take appropriate corrective action to make repairs
Experience in working with contractors on new installations
Ability to provide input and advice on new equipment selection and work with project manager on installation of new equipment
Experience with doing PMs and identifying and ordering correct needed parts for repairs & spares
Experience with assisting millwrights with mechanical PMs, repairs, and installations
Must have good work history and excellent work attendance
History of being punctual to work and mutual team respect
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Ability to work in an environment subject to fluctuations in heat, humidity, fumes, odors, dust, and noise
Ability to routinely maneuver and lift 50-100 pounds throughout the day
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Must follow all safety rules and set examples for others in safety
Must have valid Oregon drivers license and clean driving record
Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision and have a customer service focus for plant operations
This is a full-time position located in Winston, OR with a wage of $25-30/hour, working a Monday-Friday day shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm. Rare overtime and weekend work may be required. Full benefit package offered which includes health, dental, life insurance, both short term and long term disability insurance, and a 401(k) with company match after eligibility requirements are met.
