Location: Canby, OR

Wilson Construction Company has an immediate opening in our Accounts Payable Department for someone with strong organizational skills to become part of our team at our headquarter office in Canby. This position will work under the mentorship and direction of our Accounts Payable Assistant Manager.

Job Duties Include:

Accurately coding/verifying/entering and processing invoices for payment;

Tracking/updating status of invoices in pending and on hold;

Documenting status of invoices;

Accurately coding/verifying/entering and processing VISAs and Out of Pocket expenses;

Tracking/following up on collection of receipts/documentation for payments;

Tracking/following up on invoice approvals;

Verifying/matching POs to invoices;

Assisting in maintaining the filing system;

Assisting with weekly check runs;

Receiving/responding to vendor inquires;

Year-end reporting; and

Other duties as assigned.

Experience Required:

HS Diploma;

1+ year full cycle AP experience; construction industry a plus;

2 years office experience;

Heavy volume of paperwork in a fast-paced AP environment;

Ability to process a high volume of data entry with a high degree of accuracy;

Proficiency in Word / Excel / Outlook / PDF;

Accounting software; Sage Timberline a plus;

10 key by touch / Typing 50 wpm;

Alpha and numeric filing skills;

Highly detailed, organized and able to follow a systematic method of performing a task;

Attention to detail; ability to analyze, interpret and question data for accuracy;

Positive outlook and flexibility;

Dependability / Reliability;

Self-Motivated, proactive and capable of prioritizing workload;

Skilled at handling multiple tasks and demonstrating adaptability;

Team oriented;

Ability to communicate effectively; and

Ability to lift, stand, reach or bend for extended periods of time.
