Express Employment Professionals is now hiring for an Evaluation to Hire Accounts Receivable Clerk for a Salem area automotive company! This opportunity is ideal for candidates with at least 1 year of AR experience who are looking for a role with a well-established Salem company!
This position is responsible for:
Posting payments to customer accounts.
Reconciling cash receipts and deposits.
Monitors cash flow of Parts/Service Department.
Preparing and mailing invoices to customers.
Preparing reports on delinquent accounts and customer payment profiles.
Follows up with customers regarding unpaid invoices.
Maintains composure in dealing with customers.
Identifies and supports opportunities for methods/process improvement.
Uses computer and other record keeping systems to manage information.
Sets up and maintains filing system for accounts.
Builds productive working relationships, consults with others as necessary.
Has an approachable style; fosters open communication through active listening.
Takes initiative to help others as needed
Experience/ Education Needed:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Some college preferred.
One year of Accounts Receivable experience required. 3 years preferred.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service and to respond with flexibility to urgent, unexpected requests is required.
Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and work in a team.
Must have experience using basic computer systems and ability to learn and use Company specific software programs.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Salem, OREvaluation to hire; Monday – Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm$15-$17/hr DOE
