Position Description Work is varied and may be somewhat difficult in character, but usually involves limited responsibility under the direction of a Network Analyst 3 Cloud Services Administrator. As the Cloud Service Specialist, you will be part of the Enterprise Applications team and work in collaboration with other functional teams. The Enterprise Applications team is ultimately responsible for the enterprise-wide services delivered byour company. Primary role will focus on the Microsoft stack of on-premises and cloud technologies. Including, but not limited to Active Directory, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, and other enterprise-wide Microsoft technologies. This role will be ultimately responsible for the best practices and implementation of the Microsoft 365 cloud technologies including, but not limited to; Intune, Autopilot, Advanced Threat Protect, and Azure MFA. This role will also serve as a Tier 3 support for the Support Operations Teams at company and mentor and consult with them on best practice and solutions for imaging, package deployment and configuration management of endpoint devices. The Successful Candidate Will: Act as a technical subject matter professional in core components Microsoft 365. Assist in the planning and development of feature roadmaps and strategies. Understand how to implement security strategies, mitigations and be a contributing member of security discussions and brainstorming sessions. Have a working understanding of Azure Active Directory including, but not limited to Conditional Access, Multi-factor Authentication and Azure Active Directory Connector. Have professional knowledge of PowerShell fundamentals and the necessary modules to manage and maintain the Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms. Perform consultations and mentoring with the Field Support Team, Service Desk Team, and other IT teams in the county. Ensure support and maintenance of applications owned by the team meets service level expectations. Communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with county-wide customers on technical and business tasks. Deliver to department's executive leadership technical knowledge, data, best practices, and recommendations for decision making. Partner with various entities throughout the county on county-wide challenges (Governance, IT Projects, Cloud Adoption, Modernization of Windows Enterprise, etc.). Perform other related projects and duties as assigned commensurate to classification level. Other Duties: Participate in meetings, in-service training, workshops, etc. for the purpose of gathering information required to perform job functions. Perform other duties as assigned. . Skills Required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Considerable knowledge of: Microsoft 365 and Azure technologies; Azure Active Directory; Advanced Threat Protection; system and network security concepts; advanced research and analysis concepts and techniques; project management and supervision techniques; and general planning concepts. Skill and ability to: Communicate effectively both orally and in writing; convey technical and complex information to staff; troubleshoot and resolve client/user concerns and operational problems; assess capacity and future needs of network system; perform network installations; train and direct others in use of system; coordinate and implement projects; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with system users and other county personnel. Ability to plan, schedule and implement system changes or upgrades to production systems with no impact to users. Skills Preferred Experience Required 2. Two years of responsible technical experience in network administration; OR 3. Any satisfactory combination of work, education, training, or experience relevant to the position, as determined by company. Experience Preferred Education Required 1.
