Yamhill County Adult Behavioral Health has a regular full-time position available for a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) who is certified as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) to work as a member of an integrated behavioral health team. This position will be providing treatment often with co-occurring substance abuse disorders and mental illness, primarily working with clientele receiving Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT). Duties will include conducting annual assessments, diagnosing and individual service planning, direct treatment, case management, accurate documentation and records maintenance, and other duties as assigned. Saturdays may be included in the work schedule.

The position requires a Bachelors degree in a social services field and at least one year of experience in addition to CADC and QMHA certification noted above. Any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training which ensures the ability to perform the work may substitute for the above. Will be subject to successful completion of a background check.

The successful candidate must have experience in Evidence Based Practices, substance abuse treatment, criminality, and trauma informed care and must have a working knowledge of community behavioral health and the ability to: engage with and understand the behavior of people under stress; develop collaborative relationships with clients, their families, physicians, law enforcement agencies, the courts, public and private administrators, Certified Recovery Mentors, and the community in general; interpret community mental health and chemical dependence services; and prepare concise, complete clinical documentation, and other data recording. Additionally, the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and will be dependable, organized, self-directed, detail-oriented, and possess the ability to work in a team environment and to interact with co-workers, client, and the public in a courteous, professional manner.
