Our client in Woodburn, Oregon has a position open for a Human Resources Manager that oversees the Human Resources functions of two manufacturing plants.
Supervise the Human Resources team as well as partner with the Safety team.
Handle and resolve high-level team members relations issues such as investigations of harassment.
Propose, publish and administer employment policies.
Maintain knowledge of employment law through seminars, written information and associations to be able to guide management and insure that company remains within legal guidelines.
Managing an effective recruitment program and coordinate recruitment efforts with managers.
Assist managers with team member training and development, roundtables and performance management.
Facilitate communication between team members and management including translation and interpretation.
Classify positions and write job descriptions.
Monitor unemployment claims.
Maintain an extremely high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in the field of human resources or related field, eight to ten years of experience in human resources or any combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Experience in team member relations, recruitment and selection, HRIS, advising management and executives.
Bilingual in English/Spanish required.
