Oregon Flowers, Inc. is a local, family owned, cut flower greenhouse operation, seeking to fulfill a full-time position. The main duties of this position will be to perform the basic upkeep of our flower growing facility and equipment. Oregon Flowers, Inc. prides itself for using top of the line flower growing equipment and machines, which requires daily care.
The company's goal is to build a strong team, with talented and driven employees working together, to produce quality flowers to our wholesale and grocery store customers.

This position will not be filled solely based on one's skills, but their character and ability to fit the company culture. Wage will start between $15.00 and $20.00 based on the candidate's skill set. Opportunities for hours and/or increased pay is subject to candidates' value to the company.
1. Responsibilities
Weekly inspections of vehicles, tractors, forklifts, planting lines, robots, small equipment/machinery and greenhouse facility for needed repairs, adjustments, and/or service.
Perform preventative and prompt maintenance, make repairs, and log maintenance using a laptop of greenhouse facility and growing equipment.
Maintain shop inventory of supplies and repair parts. Quality tools are available by the company.
Maintain mechanic shop in a clean and orderly fashion.
2. Qualifications
Basic electrical/mechanical ability and skills.
Knowledge of servicing requirements.
Knowledge of maintenance procedures for motor vehicles, tractors, and forklifts.
Ability to work safely.
Ability to work in a clean and organized manner.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic while being self-motivated.
3. Physical Environment
This position will primarily involve working in a shop but may also be asked to assist with maintenance inside the greenhouse, cooler rooms, boiler rooms and/or in the growing fields. Candidate will be exposed to heat/humidity/cold and other environmental conditions.
