We are currently looking for 2 R& D Technicians that can work full time and meet the following qualifications
One year meat processing experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Able to read and interpret basic written information in English
Speak and understand basic English
Basic algebra and geometry
Basic computer knowledge
That are able to carry out the following responsibilities
Use R&D equipment and work with production department to use processing equipment as needed.
Create R&D labels; label samples appropriately, prepare samples for shipping.
Meet with customers and prepare samples for customer visits.
Maintain security over batching and formula sheets.
Perform experimental development projects as assigned.
Learn new procedures and food technologies that may be pertinent to the meat industry.
Train and supervise production personnel helping with projects.
Practice good housekeeping, GMP, and safety procedures
