In Oregon, there are many children, 18 and younger, with Developmental or Intellectual Disabilities who are in desperate need of safe and loving homes. RISE Services is actively recruiting, training, and supporting rising stars, also known as in-residence caregivers, to provide host homes for these children. This is an opportunity for you to positively impact a child's life and to use your heart, home, and skills to make a difference.
Host homes are similar to traditional foster care, but also offers enhanced supports such as:
Training and coaching
Overnight relief care
24/7 on-call phone support
In-home support from our direct support professionals or trained caregivers
RISE Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and care to individuals of all ages with developmental and intellectual disabilities through a variety of service models. Our Host Home services may be your answer for a fresh direction for your life and a way to provide a safe home for a child with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
