Primary Purpose: Provides administration & installation of critical information systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintenance of BrucePac technologies, applications, and systems. Including, but not limited to, Servers and Network technologies. Occasionally serves as first point of contact to resolve end user questions & issues. Continuously works independent from direct supervision. Researches technologies options and parameters to resolve issues and provides solutions. Analyzes complex technical systems & problems to resolve issues, enhance performance and enhance reliability.
Analyzes complex systems & contributes to design and strategy planning. Presents findings, plans, and recommendations to management. Serves as primary technical lead in their area of responsibility. Exercises judgment and discretion.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Two-year degree in computer science or related field or four years of relevant experience
2. One or more applicable certifications.
2. Read, write and speak English fluently and effectively. Strong oral and written communication
skills.
3. Strong competence with multiple of the following technologies:
Windows Server
Active Directory
MS Exchange
Terminal Services
SQL Server
VMWare
SAN/NAS
Data Backup
Route / Switch / VLAN
Wireless Networking
Firewall Administration
VPN, ACL
Cisco IP Telephony
Web / Email Filtering
Mobile Device Management
4. Valid driver's license in good standing with acceptable driving record.
