Diesel Mechanic Apprentice

This position is entry-level and offers on-the-job training. Experience is preferred, but not required. Wage range is $15 - $20 an hour, depending on experience. Diagnose and perform accurately all phases of vehicle repair. Perform basic service/inspection of diesel-engine vehicles. Remove, clean, repair, reinstall and adjust all vehicle components. Manually inspect all brake repairs. Safe use of all power and hand-held mechanic's tools. Select appropriate action for all vehicle repairs during the diagnostic process. Respond to all assigned requests for roadside assistance or repair of company-owned vehicles. Evaluate completed work and conduct a final inspection of equipment prior to release back into service.

- Shift length: 8 hours
- Days: Tuesday-Saturday

- Valid driver's license
- Must own basic hand tools or be willing to purchase them
