Pettit Staffing is seeking a Photo Lab Maintenance Technician for a professional imaging lab located in Salem.
The Maintenance Tech is responsible for the daily and preventative maintenance on all photo processing equipment, including monitoring the chemistry used in photo processing. The maintenance tech will also be responsible for coordinating and scheduling building maintenance, including contacting various service companies.
Will provide on the job training for all specific equipment protocols and lab procedures.
Pay rate is $17.00-20.00+/hr DOE.
Requirements and Essential Functions:
HS diploma/GED
Must be 18 years of age.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Available to work a flexible 6:00AM-2:30PM shift, Monday Friday.
Must be available to work overtime if requested by the manager, and/or a 4-6 hour Saturday shift as needed.
Solid knowledge of electronics.
Knowledge of pc hardware.
Mechanical and engineering aptitude.
Preferred Skills: AS degree in Electrical Technology. Prior experience in photo lab equipment maintenance and chemistry management or related service industry.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
Moderate physical activity. Requires occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Standing and sitting for eight hours per day.
