Now Hiring – Non‑Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Drivers
Location: Salem, OR & Surrounding Areas
Compensation: Per mile – Earn $4000+ per month
Employment Type: Full-Time / Independent Contractor
Responsibilities
Provide safe, timely door-to-door transportation for clients
Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism and courtesy
Assist clients with entering/exiting the vehicle and securing mobility devices
Maintain consistent communication and reliability
Perform post-trip safety inspections daily
Follow all company protocols, HIPAA regulations, and CDC guidelines
Uphold Careway’s reputation by going the extra mile for clients and partners
Driver Qualifications
Minimum age: 25 years old
Strong reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Clean MVR for last 3 years
Must pass a drug test and criminal background check
Vehicle Requirements (Independent Contractors)
Vehicle must be fuel‑efficient
Must pass a safety inspection
Vehicle must be no more than 5 years old
Must be clean, presentable, and well‑maintained at all times
