WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Finance Manager with outstanding financial modeling skills, and budget/investment management experience to join the Global Technology Finance team. This person will play a pivotal role in supporting Nike's Distributed Workforce Offense (DWO), partnering with our program team and key Finance stakeholders across the broader Global Technology organization to bring the strategy to life. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with strong analytical and presentation skills, and the ability to lead multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As the Finance Manager, you will support all aspects of financial management for the DWO program and play a central role in consolidating plans across global locations to support program-level reporting. You will be responsible for the DWO business case and financial model and take a proactive approach to scenario planning to help drive critical planning decisions. You will help create visibility into resource plans across all DWO locations, working closely with the DWO program team and business-unit finance leads. In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence business decisions and help establish new financial processes and capabilities from the ground up.

To be successful, our team is looking for someone who is a self-starter and can deliver results in ambiguous situations using strategic and financial insights, both written and visual, to help influence cross-functional partners.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

This role will report into the Senior Director, Finance- Global Technology, responsible for Nike's Enterprise Technology teams. As a member of the Finance team, you will collaborate closely with teams across our Global Technology organization and interact with key business partners including geo stakeholders supporting the global DWO locations.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a closely related field. MBA preferred or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally in global matrixed organizations
  • Experience in building financial models, developing forecasts, and preparing budgets
  • Proven track record in delivering analytical insights and solutions to solve business issues and opportunities
  • Preferred experience with large ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and other Finance/Accounting software
  • Preferred experience in a consumer product, digital, wholesale or retail environment
  • Prior experience in investment analysis and financial business case development preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills; and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate status, issues/risks, and opportunities with leadership
  • Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
