Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
Ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end close activities including updating and maintaining the General Ledger
Coordinate and maintain monthly accruals and standard journal entries
Engage in the review and enhancement of account reconciliations and analysis of account variances on a month-end basis utilizing Blackline Software
Responsible for SOX key control operating effectiveness, company policy compliance and documenting policies and procedures
Candidate will demonstrate financial acumen in financial reporting, internal control, analysis, and technical accounting knowledge
Proactively lead projects related to continuous process improvement and uses systems to increase controls and efficiencies
Ability to manage multiple initiatives to ensure long term operational excellence
Develop Key Performance Indicators and metrics to drive performance
Strong written communication skills, along with clear and concise verbal skills, are required.
Proven history of participating on successful cross functional teams as well as the ability to build organizational relationships with peers and operating partners

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Fina
Advanced Qualification Preferred (CPA, MBA)
Experience:
5 + Years General-Ledger Experience
Strong Analytical capabilities
Requires critical thinking and problem solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Hyperion, SAP and Blackline Systems experience is a plus
Public accounting and experience in a large, global organization is a plus
