Please note this is a 2 year contract position.Candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other technical area, plus 10+ years’ experience in construction contracts management including 5 years minimum of EPC contract experience to support the work with internal and external legal teams to communicate issues and follow up on all contractual related issues with the client. Candidate will have a demonstrated record of team leadership, leading sophisticated project contractual issues and of achieving results.This position is accountable to evaluate, negotiate and execute a wide variety of contractual issues in support of a large project in Texas. The project requires the ability to communicate and coordinate contractual issues with the client and drive such issues to a timely closure. The main interfaces for this position will be with the senior project management, the senior business management team, company's legal teams and outside legal firms (both supporting AP and the client). Regular update meetings will be required to ensure issues are being closed and are following the contractual requirements.

The incumbent is accountable for managing several contracts supporting a large project financed EPC contract. The incumbent will be required to have intimate knowledge of contractual terms and how they relate to both construction and the supply chain globally. This position will negotiate and challenge all commercial related issues coming from both the client and legal teams as we execute in the world affected by Covid-19 related issues. Strong contractual writing and negotiating skills are required.The incumbent will work seamlessly with the regional procurement centers and with Projects and Engineering to ensure execution success.Principal Accountabilities• Embody the 4S culture of Safety, Speed, Simplicity and Self-Confidence• Exemplify the company's leadership competencies daily: Lead & Inspire; Manage Execution; Strategic Attitude• Evaluate and execute a wide variety of different contracts covering a range of transactions from construction to equipment deliveries to operating/maintenance issues• Single point of contact for matters concerning contracts with the client• Maintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress.• Communicate and present to stakeholders about all contract related matters• Solve any contract related problems that may arise with other parties and internally with the company itself• Set a leadership example by encouraging a team environment that values diversity and inclusion• Contract review, assessment, guidance on claims development• Contractual claims development for Raising Change Orders for delay and disruption, specification and scope of work growth.• Assisting schedule control with delay analyses for Extension of Time Claims• Drafting Contractual letters to Owner• Contracts administration and final account resolution & close-out
