Barker & Barker Paving Inc, a well-established Lehigh Valley based Paving and Concrete company, is looking to add an Asphalt Milling GroundMan/Operator for Wirtgen w150f and Wirtgen w200i . EXPERIENCE IS A MUST.
Background Requirements and Duties:
The primary function of the Milling Machine GroundMan/Operator is to operate the milling machine to mill existing asphalt to the proper depth prior to resurfacing. The GroundMan/Operator must perform daily maintenance checks and report any mechanical or safety issues to a supervisor. In addition, the GroundMan/Operator may be required to perform minor repairs to the equipment and is expected to assist in the general operation of each job site. The position consists of but is not limited to the following duties:
Installing/removing auto electronics
Adding/removing teeth
Lubricating and greasing components
Cleaning excess millings off machine
General clean up around the job site
Checking and maintaining grade
Operating rollers, power broom and skid steer
Driving pick-ups, flatbed, water trucks
Maintenance of all equipment and tools
Overtime is a MUST
Occasional weekend work
Experience in commercial Asphalt paving is a PLUS
Must have a clean PA Drivers License (CDL a plus)
Must be able to pass a Criminal Background checks and Pre-Employment Physical/ Drug Screening
