A & A Professional Movers, LLC. is a leading moving company offering solutions for local, long-distance, and commercial moves.
We are seeking Full or Part-timers or College students looking for summer jobs for the following positions:
Mover Helpers - must be able to lift at least 75 lbs.
Moving Drivers - must have verifiable experience driving trucks (16 Ft - 26 Ft)
Responsibilities include:
A & A Professional Movers, LLC. is seeking experienced Mover’s to lead a crew of movers and drivers, to ensure each move is conducted in a professional and courteous manner.
Interacts closely with the Dispatcher/Owner on a daily basis to ensure a “PERFECT MOVE”
Must ensure that the moving truck is prepared for a move on a daily basis – verify, that truck is loaded with all the necessary moving supplies, dollies, straps, tools and moving pads
Make sure all moving helpers are properly dressed and ready for work
Obtain contracts for the day jobs and inquire about any details related to the jobs
Review moving contract with the customer
Appropriately distribute the tasks between the moving crew
Inform dispatcher of the estimated moving time and additional details (If any)
Ensure proper loading of the truck
Ensure the customers belongings are handled correctly
When the job is completed, finalize the contract and call the dispatcher
At the end of the day return to the dispatcher, return truck, to present completed contracts
Requirements:
Selected Candidate must have proven previous experience working as a foreman in the moving industry, and have good communication skills both written and verbally, as that is the key to a good customer experience, plus good language skills, both written and verbally
Must have previous moving experience
Experience leading a moving crew is required
Positive and customer-oriented
Driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
Selected candidates must pass a background check and drug screening
Ability to lift 75+ lbs.
