NOTE: We're seeking a welder experienced specifically in plastics (NOT metal, NOT wood)
Job Functions:
Perform plastic welding operations using hot air welders.
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to understand project specifications.
Prepare materials for welding, including selecting appropriate tools and equipment.
Conduct quality checks to ensure welded components meet specifications and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
Collaborate with the production and engineering team to optimize welding processes and improve product quality.
Troubleshoot welding equipment and adjust as necessary to maintain efficiency and quality.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma required
Associates Degree or Certification a plus
Experience:
Proven experience as a Plastic Welder or a similar role.
Proficiency in polypropylene welding techniques and familiarity with welding equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
A commitment to safety and quality.
