Job Description
Associate Network EngineerAudubon, PennsylvaniaContract to Hire Summary: Client is seeking an Associate Network Engineer. Candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing our Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), and Voice Systems, as well as the Server infrastructure. Responsibilities Include:- Management and support of VMWare Virtual Environment and supporting hardware
- Management and support of LAN & WAN infrastructure (Firewalls, Switches, Wireless, NAC, etc)
- Management and support of Telephony Systems
- Responsible for Level 1 TechOps tickets (shared folder permissions, print server issues, network connectivity, email account creation, etc)
- Assist EUC (End User Compute) and SecOps (Security Operations) team as Level 3 resource for incidents
- Management and support of monitoring environment (Solarwinds)
- Ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of support/troubleshooting experience with the following skill sets / technologies:
- Thorough understanding of Networking concept such as configuring Firewalls, Network Switches and Routers
- Advance Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, Network Security, NAS and SAN Storage, Azure, Office 365, VMware, SSO / MFA
- Domestic and International Travel (30%) will be required to setup new or maintain existing Network Infrastructure
- CompTIA Network+ is preferred
