Our client is a global industry leader in the physical security integration space looking for an experience Service Manager to support their growing Pittsburgh, PA branch on a long term opportunity. Summary:Overall management and leadership of our client's service business and operations activities.
Responsibilities may include service sales and effective implementation of service sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and margin goals, and maximize service delivery to achieve customer satisfaction goals.
Coaches, councils and trains the sales force to improve individual service selling skills.
Develops and implements Operations strategies that improve service delivery and provide additional value to customers in a cost effective manner.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
Required Skills:5+ years of Operations/Installation/Service/Project Management in any of the following industries: CATV, Physical Security, Wireless, Construction, etc.
Customer Focus – Maintaining awareness of and seeking to be an advocate for the needs and wants of the customer
Excellent communication skills both oral and written; high level of professionalism
Initiative – Engages in proactive behavior and looks for service opportunities
Adaptability – Responds effectively to changes in situation, information or urgency
Advanced financial analytical skills including cost control (e.g. gross margin calculations)
Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point skills
Strong team building and facilitation skills
Developing project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems)
While performing the duties of this job, the colleague is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk or hear; uses hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls. On occasion, the colleague may be required to climb and work in high places, stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. Position may also require work in confined spaces and exposure to different types of outdoor weather conditions. Risk of electrical shock and/or general hazards found in a construction environment are present.
