GHD is looking for a mid to senior level Solutions Architect to join GHD's Advanced Automation Team as a catalyst in building an outstanding product for one of its emerging digital business sectors. This role can be performed remotely, or aligned to any of our US GHD offices. No VISA sponsorship available for this role at this time. In this role, your responsibilities will include:- Make high-quality business level decisions when integrating technology stacks
- Deliver best practices and lessons learned to the design of an agnostic platform
- Work within an agile team while providing direction and focus as a key contributor
- Assist management and other shareholders in delivering a complete agnostic platform within budget and schedule
- Support product management requests as development of the platform evolves
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Experience in building reactive, object-oriented business applications using Java; Quarkus or Spring-Boot experience is a plus
- Hands-on experience developing a micro-service ecosystem for different business requirements
- Experience or knowledge of building scalable containerized platform using opensource solutions
- Knowledge in developing a CI/CD pipeline and other DevOps operations; Linux knowledge a plus
- Experience or knowledge of data structuring, data ingestion, and interconnection of services
- Understanding of OT/IT security all the way through to the platform level
- Additionally, all above qualifications should be able to be applied to offerings that may not be connected to a public cloud network
