Job Description
Senior Industrial EngineerRemote Position with 70-80% Travel (All travel expenses are covered)Contract to Hire Pay Rate: $45.00 $55.00 Hour W2 DOEOur client, who specializes in operational improvement , and productivity enhancement, is looking to bring on qualified and motivated engineers to help with the continual growth of the company. They are expanding in retail, manufacturing, and distribution, markets they have a foot hold in. This is turn is providing multiple new projects and requiring new training and new marketing. This growth will continue and double the company size, and they need help to be sure the growth is sustained. Required Skills:- Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- 4-8 years' experience in a consulting role using Industrial Engineering principles.
- Provide daily leadership, project management and expertise on project teams, including time and motion studies, work measurement, cost-benefit analysis, and process re-engineering activities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Can work in a team and independently
- Experience with analytics and reporting
- Previous experience with management, including strong implementation skills
- Able to problem solve
- Excellence knowledge and experience with outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
- Analyze results to create engineer labor standards
- Experience with project proposals, presentations, and new client activities as requested
- Experience with research into new technologies that provide efficiency gains
- Consultants, at times, must work in challenging, non-standard environments. This could include
- Flexibility to workday, evenings and overnight shifts
- Monday Friday work week but ability to work occasional weekends (Saturday/Sunday)
- Strenuous Activity: Continuous walking throughout the shift, standing on your feet the entire shift
