Franklin County, located in south central Pennsylvania between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh with its southern boundary between Pennsylvania and Maryland, also known as the Mason-Dixon Line, is seeking an Assistant County Administrator to join the Countys Senior Management team. This position is responsible for assisting the County Administrator in complex administrative duties, including strategic planning, directing and coordinating administrative functions of the County, evaluating processes, and implementing policies and procedures of the Commissioners.
Successful candidates will need to have a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible administrative and management experience in government, including three years in a managerial or supervisory capacity is required. A 4-year degree in Public Administration, Management or related degree is required; Masters degree preferred; any combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered.
