Starting Wage: $15.50 per hour

Effective October 2022 minimum wage will be increased to $20 per hour

Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time - Year Round

We are looking for a candidate that is positive, self-motivated, detailed oriented, and can lead a quality staff. This is a unique opportunity to join our team at Pennsylvania’s Outdoor Adventure Headquarters, Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Inc.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Display good customer relation skills and take initiative to greet guests in a friendly manner.

Accommodate hotel guests by registering and assigning rooms to guests, issuing room key cards.

Perform bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts and conducting nightly audits.

Post charges, such as those for rooms, food, liquor, ledgers, by computers.

Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests.

Record guest comments or complaints, referring customers to managers as necessary.

Prepare the Front Office for the upcoming shift and reset day’s business.

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management.

Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, guest registration, and travel directions, or make recommendations regarding shopping, dining, or resort activities/events.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Knowledge of computer software Word, Excel, Outlook.
