Summary: This position will be responsible to design, develop and support the enterprise eCommerce B2B applications. You will be engaged with highly energetic team focused on multiple healthcare storefronts. This role will be enhancing, fixing and adding new capabilities to our eCommerce applications build on SAP Commerce solution, supporting the production environment making sure the application performance standards are met.

Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop complex technical solutions using J2EE components and MVC pattern in Spring MVC, and SAP HybrisSAP Hybris – items.xml / flexible search queries / rest controllers / cronjobs / events / solr / backoffice customization etc.Work on Code reviews, Code merges and ensure code quality through different tools like SonarQube, JSLintAnalyze logs from servers and troubleshoot issuesWork with both automation and load testing team to coordinate regular automation tests and performance testsDevelop Restful Web Services in J2EE using JAX-RS and other libraries. Strong understanding of the web services architecture and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).Efficiently use code versioning tools such as Git and Bit bucket Enterprise.Provide architectural insights into newer Java UI framework and Java server- side programmingProvide standardization insights into Java server- side programmingUses various Tools effectively: JIRA, SLACK, Confluence, Jenkins.Good knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and SeleniumCoordinate and work with Operations team on day to day basis on Production Support, DevOps and database related issuesThink through complex problems and work with a team to implement real-world solutionsBe part of architecture scrums to create spikes for Proof of Concept items.Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and toolsOptimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsersUnderstanding of React.js and its core principles is a plus.Advanced Java, j2EE and Spring MVC experienceDevelop Restful Web Services in J2EE using JAX-RS and other libraries. Strong understanding of the web services architecture and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).Experience with Object Oriented Design conceptsExperience in leading/mentoring development teams

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in Programming/Systems or Computer Science or equivalent related field. Or equivalent work experience. Typically have 5-8 years of application programming and analysis experience.
