Please note this is a 6 month contract position.Provide end to end procurement (sourcing, negotiation and contract negotiation) for Clinical RND services. Responsible for sourcing services within the scope of business policies and procedures to support the business' Clinical RND operations, and negotiating the associated Service Agreements.Duties and Responsibilities: Initiates the timely sourcing services with regard for cost, quality and delivery. Ensures compliance with purchasing policies and procedures. Plans and prepares formal RFP packages for services. Evaluates and negotiates formal bids received from suppliers and works closely with the business on supplier selection for award. Negotiates nonstandard contracts, requiring collaboration with internal subject matter experts across multiple functional areas. Researches and analyzes possible sources/suppliers for requested services, provides alternatives or substitutions when applicable, and provides an overview of options to internal customers. Troubleshoots discrepancies pertaining to purchase orders, requisitions, prices and quality. Analyzes market trends and availability of designated procurement commodities.
