AWS Cloud EngineerJob DescriptionWe're looking for an experienced AWS cloud engineer that came come into the team and hit the ground running with the ability to help modernize and consolidate Infrastructure as well as automate workloads. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in AWS with expertise in both design and deployment. Extensive knowledge of Terraform as means to provision AWS resources is also highly regarded for this particular position.Roles/Responsibilities
- Working in tandem with our engineering teams to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company.
- Planning, designing and developing cloud-based applications.
- Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.
- Deploying and debugging cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Employing exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they snowball into problems.
- Orchestrating and automating cloud-based platforms throughout the company.
- Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations as needed to help the company excel.
- AWS experience is a must - preferably 3 + years
- Terraform
- Highly Security Conscious
- Automation
- CI/CD
- Infrastructure Design (EC2, RDS, ELB etc.)
- Ability to collaborate with a team of Engineers and Operators
- Strong Problem Solving capabilities
- Scripting - 2+ years experience
- PowerShell - desired not required.
