Location: Conshohocken, PA 19428

Duration: 6 Months

Description: Hybrid, preferably within driving distance to Conshohocken, PA.

What you will be doing

SUMMARY: Along with leadership, architecture and analyst support within IT Edge Solutions, the incumbent will be responsible for building and deploying a new web application for our business and IT stakeholders related to the transportation and logistics initiatives of AmerisourceBergen. The application will be built with Angular framework, Azure/dotnet backend, will interface with other systems via REST services integration. Successful candidate should have experience with Azure backend tools and should be a proactive technical owner for driving innovation, ideation and proof of concepts for an agile dev team. We are looking for the type of technical lead who can take an idea/mission and run with it, asking for support if necessary but having a passion to achieve results both individually and as a team.

Technologies:

  • Angular 4/5/6/7/8, Typescript 2+, Angular-Cli, JavaScript, Webpacks, NPM
  • SQL Server development and table/index designs and tuning (application developer perspective)
  • Automate testing of API code using Unit Tests, Integration Tests (NUnit/xUnit) and End to End tests
  • Visual Studio 2017/2019, Visual Studio Code
  • Working with AB business analyst teams and IT staff to build prototypes to validate system requirements
  • Know where deliverables are in the development process and how they map to project milestones and schedules
  • Ownership for the quality and timeliness of all assigned tasks
  • Adherence to AB development processes (e.g., Coding Standards, Code Reviews, Unit Testing, Development Process, Release Notes, etc.).
  • Owns and has accountability for roadblock resolution. Seeing the problem and driving the resolution
  • Assess potential downstream impact of roadblocks and communicate to Team Lead
  • Participate in requirements gathering to provide technical input on system options and solutions

What your background should look like Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Typically requires 7+ years of relevant technical or business work experience. Requires experience/in-depth knowledge of business operations and systems requirements processes, SDLC procedures, Warehouse Management and other Distribution Center Related experience preferred.

  • Minimum 7 years relevant technical or business work experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team / group setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Quick learner with ability to grasp abstract concepts
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, creative, likes to build experimental POC and show off the concept
