Sr. Software Engineer - DevOps/SRE

Location: Conshohocken, PA.

Duration: 4 Months Contract to PERM with Client

Local Candidates Preferred Client is looking for a senior level Software Engineer with strong

AWS experience and with

cloud

formation someone who's been doing it for a good number of years. Someone who built environments that are fixed, not modified after deployment. Experience with cross region, Google Cloud experience and Azure. Google cloud is more important. Someone who has built CI/CD frames.

Description below:
  • Server Technologies: Open Source and Vendor supported including cloud solutions (AWS, Google Cloud Platform and Azure)
  • Understanding true DevOps and SRE methods
  • Messaging Queues and Messaging Oriented Middleware.
  • Databases: Open Source and Vendor Supported (RDBMS, Oracle, SQLandNoSql).
  • Source Code Control Practices and Ci/CD
  • RESTful API concepts.
  • Big Data Technologies and Concepts.
  • Expert understanding of modern softwaree ngineering practices, design patterns and object-oriented technologies.
  • Deep development experience in Enterprise level Java/J2EE application environments (full web stack development).
  • Understanding of UI technologies such as CSS, HTML5, JavaScript and common scripting packages such as jQuery.
  • Experience with Git, bitbucket, continuous integration and build tools (i.e. Ansible, Docker, Quickbuild, Jenkins, Terraform, Cloud Formation); Project and code management in Jira.
  • Experience working in a variety of development method
