- • Automated deployment experience. Prefer Jenkins and Puppet, but others are welcome • Experience working with virtual Windows and Linux servers • Experience scripting in PowerShell, shell, or Groovy-like scripting languages • IIS administration experience • Demonstrated DevOps skills to deploy and host .NET services in IIS. Able to setup • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, a plus • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with different levels within the organization, as well as with the• AWS cloud experience • DevOps monitoring tools experience • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS) or similar program. • 5 years related experience in delivering technology solutions • Demonstrated knowledge of various technologies such as software applications, databases, networking, telecommunications and connectivity • Able to adhere to and enforce software release processes • Results-oriented, diligent and works with a sense of urgency • Assertive, responsible for his/her own work (self-directed) and be willing to commit to deadlines • Ability to identify and implement required actions and eliminate roadblocks quickly in order to accomplish goals including fielding of deployment issues, escalations and contingencies, acting as the primary Point-of-Contact throughout the deployment execution. • The DevOps Engineer is responsible for the overall success of code deployments, patching, upgrades and maintenance updates to production systems to ensure on-time delivery of business applications • Ability to drive issues to closure, flexible, able to learn quickly in a dynamic environment • Contribute to the continued enhancement of release process and tools
