We are looking to hire a Technology Leader who operates with a focus on the customer, self-service solutions, and brand experience. This individual will own product engineering, engage with stakeholders, and drive teams to deliver the best customer experience.What You'll Bring:
  • 5-10+ years of experience in software development.
  • 5+ years of experience working with developer tools in a Java environment.
  • 2+ years of experience leading teams and managing technical talent.
  • Experience with developing software for SaaS from concept, delivery, to operations.
  • Understanding of Cloud, Micro Services, RESTful services, JEE, and related technologies such as SOAP.
  • Experience with Dev/Ops, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery Systems, Automation, and Industry best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies such as SAFe or scrum.
  • Effective written and communication skills.
We'd love to see:
  • Full-Stack web development experience, including the use of React, HTML, and CSS, is a plus.
  • Knowledge of typical software concerns in Direct to Consumer (D2C) environments such as Compliance, PII, and Cybersecurity a plus.
  • Integration experience is a plus.
  • Cloud experience in either AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure is a plus.
Impact You'll Make:
  • Partner with Product/Product Owners, Architects, Production, and key stakeholders to develop and maintain a 3-year product roadmap.
  • Own, define, baseline, and track key business and operational metrics that drive product engagement and operation for engineering purposes.
  • Lead the technical management of features and associated stories under development and pressure test for completeness, surface gaps, and align to the roadmap as necessary.
  • Deliver product features & user stories in the product backlog admitted to PI.
  • Partner with Program Management and key stakeholders on effort sizing, team composition, and tracking progress for on-time product delivery.
  • Drive Agile practices to engineer robust products and deliver releases with quality and use metrics to baseline, continuously improve and track progress.
  • Champion and implement innovations in Digital/D2C experiences, DevOps, and SRE practices incorporate new technologies and tools for Product Development and Operations.
  • Work actively with System Architects & Production to understand deployment and incorporate features for easy and healthy operation.
  • Champion new approaches and opportunities to leverage emerging technologies.
  • Improve customer/consumer experience quality by overseeing the performances and changes introduced of a part of the service stack. Help teams identify areas to improve in Root Cause Analysis
  • Own incidents until resolution and work to identify root-cause and common failure patterns.
  • Coach, supervise, delegate, and direct tasks to direct reports to deliver a quality product.
  • Manage skills matrix and talent for delivery of new products/features in the product backlog.
