Our production-like environments serve as the backbone for development and quality assurance, and our people help align the many advancements within Comcast and our industry.Overview of the Role: TES Engineering Manager is directly accountable for supervising the daily work, processes, and employee growth within multiple assigned areas of TES Lab Operations. Individual possesses a deep understanding of technical leadership within MSO architectures including CRAN, DAA, NDC, HFC, and cloud video, driving direct and dotted-line reports to collaborate cross functionally to drive operational excellence. Role requires a working manager, capable of participating as an individual contributor in project teams, troubleshooting operational issues, providing technical solutions to operational problems, driving new/existing product implementation, and ensuring the overall upkeep & maintenance of designated areas of engineering. Leader will monitor the lab operation, ensure the timely response to network incidents, resolve actions/resources needed to drive swift solutions, and certify all work processes are efficient, consistent in their daily application, and compliance with industry and company technical requirements, standards, policies, and procedures. Manager will proactively seek strategic enhancements in work processes and collaborate with team to plan/implement advancements. Maintains in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in area of technology while resolving work priorities and serving as resource for employees. Interfaces regularly with vendors, engineering, and peer operations organizations, including Design Engineering, Video Engineering, CMTS Engineering, Systems Engineering, IP Network Engineering, Critical Infrastructure, and Project Management.This team loves their work but mostly because it helps us grow individually and professionally. Preferred Skills & Experience: 5-7 years of experience in MSOs Architectures (multiple-system operators), including HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coax), DAA (Distributed Access Architecture), PON (Passive Optical Network), etc.

Proven track record to analyze and physically evaluate complex IP/RF/Optical networks, identify issues, and drive corrections or enhancements to ensure network operation efficiency.

Intermediate knowledge of Critical Infrastructure systems (power/space/cooling) and their importance to Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM)

Experience in creating, analyzing, and reporting on real-time metrics to determine effective work processes, drive standardization, and ensure compliance.

Familiarity with facilitating emerging technologies and procedures, acting as a key partner in strategic decisions around products, platforms, and technologies.

History of financial and business insight, including budgetary planning, financial forecasting, project management, and service portfolio management.

Prior experience in leading/handling the daily and overall performance of department projects. Delegating responsibilities when necessary to ensure projects are completed on time and in adherence to the given budget and in accordance with standard methodologies.
