This position is responsible for maintenance and support of business processes related to finance, costing and accounting. This includes regular production break fix issues as well as implementing new functionality in the areas of FICO, COPA and dispute management / Credit management. - gather business requirements and implement the solution in configuration / development, testing and deployment that meets the requirement.
- understand the business processes and implement suitable solutions via configuration and / or work with the development team to implement a custom solution and then test / deploy the solution in the areas of FICO and COPA:
- Accounts receivables, accounts payables, General Ledger accounting, cost center / element accounting, profit center accounting, product costing, dispute and collection management, credit management
- monitor EDI/ALE/IDOCS and trouble-shooting / error resolution of IDOCS
- ability to integrate areas with materials management, sales and distribution and production planning is essential
- knowledge in accounting principles (US GAAP) and in-depth financial knowledge is a must
- strong documentation and verbal / written communication skillsets are needed
- experience in the above areas in SAP ECC is a must
- experience / exposure in the above areas in SAP S4 (in future we will be moving from ECC to S4) is preferred
- certification is preferred
