Answer first level customer service inquiries via phone and/or e-mail.
Respond to sales inquiries and pass associated inquiries to the correct department
Effectively manage customer relationships via current communication methods ensuring we provide outstanding support and become a trusted source for information relating to orders
Investigate late/delayed orders to minimize customer complaints and exceed customer expectations
Review purchase order to Identify and verify correct customers' names, addresses, billing information, part numbers, order quantities, pricing and any other specification
Maintains record of purchase orders and specific customer requests
Contacts customer to verify order or shipping information
Provide material availability for sales orders as needed and manage backorders
Send order acknowledgments and enter information into customer portals as needed
