Job Description

Position Summary

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of price management processes and communication methods for multi-channel customers. The position will be a key contributor to implementing strategic price increases and reporting out on price increase realization progress. The Pricing Analyst will maintain complete and accurate pricing files for the company, supporting the business strategy and enabling ease of doing business.

Responsibilities

  • Identify best practices, automate analytics, and generate operational efficiency with rep partners

  • Lead deployment of cross-functional pricing initiatives, coordinating overall effort of Pricing Analysts and Finance Pricing Specialists

  • Contribute to price increase processes

  • Maintain accurate net sheets, trade agreements and multipliers

  • Manage system price locks and analytics to support changing lock levels

  • Establish and maintain delegation of authority levels

  • Manage the exception approval process for price violations

  • Facilitate price floor management, analyze inconsistencies, and identify opportunities to optimize sales and profitability

Qualifications

Experience and Skill Required

  • Bachelors Degree is preferred (Business or Marketing majors preferred)

  • Minimum of 1 -2 years related experience

  • Efficient and detail-oriented

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point, Excel, Word, Access)

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision making, human relations, and communication skills

  • Ability to organize workload to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
