POSITION: Girl Scout Program Facilitator - Part-time position
Location: Erie
Girl Scouts is the preeminent leadership development organization for girls in kindergarten through twelfth grade, and our mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character. At Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania, we're committed to providing every girl the chance to practice a lifetime of leadership, adventure, and success.
As part of the Community Outreach team, you will facilitate and lead Girl Scout programming and work with volunteers, parents, and program partners to enhance the program experience for our girl members. You will coordinate activities and outings that may include scheduling guest speakers, retreats, cultural outings, and community projects.
This is a part-time position;
6-8 hours per week;
$12 per hour:
Experience working with children in large groups and ability to effectively and positively control a large group of children;
Reliable form of transportation and current driver's license;
Ability to work a flexible schedule including after school hours and some evenings;
Excellent communication and presentation skills;
Must possess a can-do mentality, be responsible, and be a lifelong learner;
Must be organized, detail oriented, and customer focused;
Desire to be a role model to young ladies;
Clearances required;
