Job Description A growing technology consulting firm with a focus on scale and optimization is hiring a Kotlin Developer to their team. This Engineer will specifically work with Kotlin as their primary language, but are open to individuals who have extensively worked with functional components in Java, or other JVM languages like Scala or Clojure. They are looking for a strong developer with experience being client-facing or a desire to be so. They work on a project basis with daily interaction with customers, but this will be a 100% technical role. They work with companies all over the country so this developer can work remotely. Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with JVM languages (Scala, Clojure, or Kotlin)
- OR experience with functional components (e.g. Lambda) within Java
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with cloud technologies, preferably Amazon Web Services
- REST APIs
- BS or MS in Computer Science
- Prior consulting experience
- 70% Kotlin
- 30% Java
