Under the direct supervision of the Mental Health Pharmacist, the PCC is responsible for the processing, preparation, and filling of mental health and addiction recovery prescriptions.

Model excellent patient care by respecting, engaging and enthusiastically meeting or exceeding all patient and physician needs.

Document all patient/client/provider contact in appropriate computer system.

Utilize all pharmacy systems to review patient profile, set up delivery, and enter changes. Coordinate the delivery of mental health and addiction recovery medications with the contracted delivery source.

Report errors, omissions, incidents to pharmacist.

Participate in sales calls with the goal of growing mental health and addiction recovery prescription accounts. Continuously build professional rapport with outside partners including physicians, nurses, medical assistants, drug reps and vendors.

Assist and direct sales teams on the acquisition of potential business/leads/sales opportunities.

Adhere to all company, state and federal policies, laws and regulations including HIPAA

Assist in the execution of all company initiatives/programs and participate in staff meeting.

Position Summary:The Mental Health Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for accurate and responsive intake and scheduling of mental health and addiction recovery patient referrals and medications.
