Childcare Teacher (1+ Years of Experience, Full-Time)
Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of young children? Fishburn Flock is looking for a patient and compassionate childcare teacher who has experience working with children ages 6 months to 8th grade. The Fishburn Flock teacher will help lead developmentally-appropriate activities that encourage healthy physical, social, and emotional development for students.
Responsibilities:
Create age-appropriate lesson plans
Foster a classroom environment of safety and respect
Perform daily cleaning routines to keep facilities sanitary and safe
Prepare and serve snacks and meals throughout the day
Keep parents and families updated on their child’s daily activities and progress
Requirements:
High school diploma/GED
1+ years of experience working in a Child Development or related field
2,500 documented hours working with non-family children
Ability to work creatively and flexibly
Preferred Qualifications:
Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certification
Experience working in a play-based environment
