What You’ll Be Doing:SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES OF ROLEThe Clinical Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations ofthe department related to the Utilization Management functions. This role supports the ClinicalOperations department in implementing and maintaining standardized operational processesto ensure compliance to NCH’s policies, legal requirements and regulatory mandates and follows URAC and UM standards. This role is responsible for preparing reports, reviewing data related to UM and Intake functions including, but not limited to: call metrics, customer service issues and system enhancements and recommend improvements to workflow processes and participates in the User Acceptance Training Program.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Analytical, creative thinking and problem-solving skills

Proficient written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Ability to exercise independent judgment and prioritize a diverse workload

Ability to interact across all levels comfortably and confidently within the organization

Proficiency in Microsoft office products including but not limited to: Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

High School / GED (preferred)

Broad knowledge of health care delivery/managed care regulations, prior authorization, or utilization review experience (preferred)

May be required to stare at computer screens for extended periods of time
